flyers – what are they?
Unlike brochures (several sheets stapled together) or booklets (one sheet with folds), flyers are the simplest and cheapest advertising material because they are plain sheets without folds. However, they should not be underestimated. There is a misconception that all people, when they receive leaflets, throw them away without even reading them. This happens often, but not always. The main reason is not the low efficiency of the flyers, but the unclear design, ill-considered text and inappropriate target audience.
Use flyers when, with a small budget, you need to quickly spread information about special offers, promotions, news or events. Use this form of advertising effectively and the return will be guaranteed.
flyers – comments, tips and recommendations
To make it easier for you to make and print flyers, we have collected answers to the most popular questions, as well as various professional recommendations:
- the length of the text should be as short as possible, up to 150 words for A6 and 1/3 A4 flyers, up to 300 words for A5 flyers
- flyers used as wobblers must provide a design space for the wobbler foot so that it does not obscure important information
- carefully consider the title (slogan) of the flyer – it should consist of only a few words. It will be even more effective if the slogan is in the form of a question
- expect that many flyers will go to people who will not be interested in your offer. Therefore, we recommend making flyers on thinner paper, but in larger quantities. By doubling the print run, printing costs will increase by only 10-30%
- the most popular flyer sizes are A6 (105 x 148 mm), A5 (148 x 210 mm) and 1/3 A4 (99 x 210 mm)
