booklet printing for companies
booklets – what are they?
Booklets, brochures and flyers technically differ only in that a booklet has one page (brochures have at least two), with one or more folds (a flyer is without a fold).
Booklets and flyers have completely different uses. Booklets usually promote a specific company, product or service and are made from quality paper. Often, booklet production also involves the use of additional effects such as lamination, UV partial varnishing and die-cutting. In contrast, flyers are used to advertise promotions, special offers, events and other short-term activities. They are made from cheaper and thinner paper, but in significantly larger quantities.
A4 booklets
Classic A4 booklets are most often printed for a limited advertising budget. When to find a compromise between price and quality. The printing of such booklets is suitable for exhibitions, conferences and direct marketing. A suitable solution if your company has little competition. If you represent an industry in which there is very fierce competition, more attention should be paid to the production of booklets – the more attractive and visually attractive these booklets will be, the faster and more successfully they will bring the desired result. If your offer is exclusive, booklet printing should be supplemented with exclusive post-processing, for example UV partial varnishing in combination with matte or velvet lamination. An even more exclusive impression will be created if you make irregularly shaped booklets.
custom shape booklets
It is recommended to choose these booklets when there is fierce competition in the industry represented by your company and/or exclusive goods and services are sold. Such booklets will be more suitable than classic A4 for several reasons:
- are more attractive and impressive due to their non-standard shape and size
- can contain more information than classic A4 booklets
- you can stand out more successfully among your competitors if you are able to use all the possibilities offered by printing technology
The formula for a successful custom shape booklet:
- timely planning, when work on this advertising material is started long before the planned marketing activity, when they are planned to be distributed (exhibition, new product launch, etc.)
- a unique design, customized shape and size that specifically highlights your company’s offer and is in line with your company’s guidelines
- the use of appropriate printing and post-processing technologies to highlight the advantages of your company’s products and services compared to competitors
booklets – comments, tips and recommendations
To make it easier for you to make classic A4 or irregular-shaped booklets, we have collected answers to the most popular questions, as well as prepared some professional recommendations:
- the text should be short and concise. Highlight all the advantages, even if they seem obvious to you, they will not be to the target audience
- use only professional photographs. The number of images (photographs, tables, diagrams, etc.) should be less than 8. If the printed booklet contains very little text (less than 100 words), the number of images may be higher – up to 14
- pay attention to the design of the booklets – it must be relevant, creative and understandable
- the amount of text in a classic A4 booklet should be less than 600 words (ideally 400 to 500 words). The text – as short as possible, emphasizing only those advantages that customers receive directly from your company’s goods or services
- the booklet must contain your company’s contact information – address, phone numbers, e-mail and website
- if the booklet is intended with perpendicular folds, we recommend choosing G-Print paper, which is designed for folding
- for booklets that are intended to be written on, we recommend choosing uncoated paper, G-print chalk paper without varnish or matte chalk paper with a matte protective varnish
