Forms, like business cards, are one of the most important components of company office printing. In the past, companies could not exist without them at all, because all transactions, accounting, logistics and other important information were recorded on the forms. Today, more and more data is captured digitally, but forms are still widely used, especially in customer correspondence and logistics.

No serious brand guidelines will be complete without form design. The company’s logo details are always indicated on the forms, but there may also be additional information – contract conditions, advertising, news, tables to be filled in etc.

Printed forms are divided into:

• standard forms (consisting of one page) – blank printed with company details and symbols, which are then additionally personalized in the printer (waybills, offers, reports, etc.).
• self-copying forms (consisting of several pages glued together, which can be of different colors and which copy the information written on the upper form) – usually used when the fact of delivery must be carefully recorded  in logistics, accepting goods for repair, renting inventory or concluding operational contracts.

To make it easier for you to make forms, we have collected answers to the most popular questions, as well as prepared some professional recommendations:

• by default we use Soporset Premium Offset white paper. Extra white and smooth paper Image Digicolor 100g is also available – for brighter images or a pleasant touch
• standard forms can be personalized on an office printer, self-copy forms cannot, because they are too thin and require a special dot matrix printer
• if the forms are planned to be printed from the back as well, we recommend choosing a paper thickness of at least 100g – less transparent
• exclusive forms are printed on designer paper, which can have a distinct embossing and color
• depending on the thickness of the form paper, 800 – 1000 forms can be packed in one 1/2 A4 box, 1600 – 2000 forms in a normal A4 box
• it is possible to incorporate various anti-counterfeiting elements into the forms – watermark, relief, foil printing, numbering, special color, etc.
• printing forms in one or two colors (pantones) will be cheaper than full color. Black and white forms are the cheapest
• self-copying forms can be glued into blocks, as well as individual covers can be made for them
