PVC banner printing and production
banners – what are they?
PVC banner is the most popular outdoor advertising material we see every day. They are mounted on the fence or in metal frame constructions – PVC banner is stretched with rivets and fastened with tensioners. The PVC banner is fused together from several pieces and its size is unlimited (one of the largest indoor banners was 10 x 390 meters). The most popular materials:
- classic banner – we usually see this everyday on house walls or fences
- cast banner fabric – is smoother, so it is especially suitable for indoor spaces, photo walls
- mesh banner perforated, designed for particularly windy areas (during rack repairs)
PVC banners – comments, tips and recommendations
To make it easier for you to make PVC banners, we have collected answers to the most popular questions, as well as some professional tips:
- when creating a design, a 7 cm frame around the perimeter should be provided, in which important information should not be inserted (rivets)
- the type and material of PVC banner fasteners is selected depending on the planned application
- it is possible to make double-sided PVC banners
- it is possible to place rivets only on the specific edges, not along the entire perimeter. It is possible to create tunnels or some other types of fastening instead of rivets, or even combine them
- in most cases, PVC banners are rectangular, but it is also possible to make non-standard shapes
- the installation of PVC banners must always be coordinated with both – the building or land owner and the relevant municipal authority (official coordination with the municipal authority may take up to a month, but is usually faster)
- PVC banners are usually secured with tensioners. If one of them breaks, it needs to be replaced promptly, otherwise all the others will follow. A better situation will be if the banner is secured with a string or a rubber
